Sharyn
Abbott created Ultimate Business University, "Converting
Kids at Risk to Kids in Power," a non-profit, to support youth
at risk as a legacy for her brother Tony. After her brother

years. During this time, she became aware of the number of
children living on the street. UBU's mission is to provide a
reliable alternative to incarceration for youth at risk in San
Francisco and in Belize in Central America. UBU education
systems transcend conventional methods to help those at risk
discover their true genius. Sharyn has appeared on Oprah and

companies and spent the better part of 23 years as an
entrepreneur. Sharyn founded Youth Enterprise in 1977; was on
the Board of Directors for the American Diabetes Association and
Easter Seals; and did fundraising for Rubicon Homes for abused
children. Sharyn is the author of seven books and three
